European Fashion Award FASH
Short Description
The European Fashion Award FASH 2025 is an international competition dedicated to sustainably promoting talented design students from across Europe. Presented as part of the new Munich Fashion Award, the prize recognizes outstanding creative potential in fashion and textile design.
Application Requirements:
Portfolio in English (up to 20 pages) showcasing projects, work process, sketches, and technical drawings
Curriculum Vitae (2 pages, in both German and English)
Proof of enrollment or final examination date (1 page)
All documents must be merged into a single PDF file (maximum size 7 MB, maximum 26 pages), named with your participant number followed by “FASH25” (e.g., “29-S-FASH25.pdf”)
The PDF will be uploaded to a OneDrive platform; access details will be provided upon confirmation of participation

Creativity
Independence and originality
Innovation and vision
Development potential
Emphasis is on projects that reflect a strong design aesthetic and forward-thinking approach in textile and fashion design.
Eligibility
Open to adult design students from Europe enrolled in or having graduated from a European university or fashion school:
Category 1: Students (up to Bachelor's degree)
Category 2: Bachelor’s Theses (from examination date May 1, 2023)
Category 3: Master/PhD (students and theses from examination date May 1, 2023)
Applicants must be currently enrolled or have graduated after May 1, 2023.
Program Benefits or Awards
Winners gain significant international exposure and career opportunities, with many past laureates now working with prestigious brands and designers.
Prize Money: Total of 5,000 EUR distributed across three categories:
Students (up to Bachelor's degree): 1,000 EUR
Bachelor's Theses (or similar, from May 1, 2023): 2,000 EUR
Master/PhD (students and theses from May 1, 2023): 2,000 EUR
