Open Call – 1 Facilitator for Symbiotic Danscapes 2026
This opportunity seeks one artist to join a team of three facilitators for a one-month hybrid program (part research residency, part workshop). The chosen artist will lead and explore their personal research questions in choreographic, performative, or movement practice, guiding a dedicated group of participants through movement, dialogue, and shared experience.

Eligibility
- Open to artists with an ongoing research practice (in dance, performance, somatics, or movement).
- Must have experience in participatory facilitation and dance-making/choreographic environments.
- Requires a genuine interest in co-inquiry, relational work, collective exploration, and somatic approaches.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Fee/Stipend: $1,100€ (gross) artist fee.
- Per Diems: Per diems for weekends (approximately $180$€ total).
- Accommodation: Shared accommodation (e.g., bell tent with bed) and a space within an active co-living community.
- Meals: Three vegetarian meals per day (plus breakfast on weekends).
- Travel Cost: Travel support up to $100€ (for artists based in Greece) or up to $250€ (for artists based abroad).
- Other: Space, time, a committed group of participants, and coordinated shared transport from Athens to Lefkada.

Application Requirements
- Applicants are expected to have an ongoing artistic/research practice.
- The chosen facilitator will be required to:
- Facilitate 38 hours of movement/choreographic research.
- Participate in 6 hours of Critical Circles.
- Join an active co-living community for collective exploration and creation.
