Welcome to the world of celebrity obsession. In this safest of spaces, we celebrate the infinitely vast world of fanart. We urge you to express your strangest and strongest devotions to your false&true idols. Fanart has long been viewed as a low form of art, but in our eyes it a self-expression that is pure in its intent and void of pretension. It is in equal parts intense and sincere, and that’s what we love to see here at Bad Art.
Fandom will be hosted by the wonderful LAS, @londonartservices located in Deptford, London
Eligibility
The preferred medium for this Bad Art is 2-dimensional works, paintings, drawings, prints, watercolours, collages.
There is space for sculptural works and performance, and we look forward to featuring them, however, the space will lend itself better to 2d works or pieces that can be wall-mounted.
We will also be accepting media and video works
