Farm Studio India is an international artist residency located in rural Rajasthan. The program fosters intercultural exchange by connecting local communities with artists from around the world. Through dedicated studio spaces, communal activities, and engagement with village life, the residency supports creative experimentation, cultural dialogue, and artistic growth.

Residents engage in a quiet working environment while participating in community activities, artist talks, presentations, and works-in-progress showings. Open to artists of all disciplines working in any medium from anywhere in the world.

(Note: No grants, stipends, or financial support provided; artists must cover their travel, materials, and participation costs if any.)

Application Fee

There is no entry fee, however if accepted there is a Residency fee of $800 USD, of which $200 USD is required as a deposit upon acceptance.

  • Description of the project or artistic intention during residency

  • Artists stay in individual huts or rooms with essential furniture and bedding.
  • Shared private bathroom facilities.
  • Artists must bring their own art materials; basic tools are available on-site.
