Title & Description

Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park Outdoor Arts Residency (April–June 2026)
This residency invites Scotland-based artists or collectives to develop site-specific or outdoor performance projects that respond to the landscape of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, particularly its Inverclyde section, including the Greenock Cut and Lunderston Bay. Artists working in contemporary performance—dance, live art, visual theatre, circus, and interdisciplinary practices—are encouraged to propose ideas for research, exploration, or early-stage testing in the landscape. The residency supports projects created outside traditional arts buildings and aims to re-imagine public space through artistic intervention. Selected artists will receive a creative fee, materials budget, accommodation, producing and mentoring support, access to studio space at RIG Arts, and assistance from park rangers. There is no requirement for a final public outcome, but artists may share works in progress.
