FLAMIN Productions, part of Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network, supports innovative, ambitious moving image projects through development and production finance. It’s the only UK scheme of its kind, emphasizing projects with potential for national and international exhibition.   Information & Application Details:
  • Stage 1 Application Deadline: 5pm, 31 March 2025
  • Shortlist Announced: 6 May 2025 (6 artists invited to Stage 2)
  • Stage 2 Deadline: 27 May 2025
  • Interviews: Week of 2 June 2025
  • Project Completion: By December 2026
 

Eligibility:

  • Visual artists working with moving image, professionally active for 5+ years
  • Main address in England
  • Not currently enrolled or planning to study during the award period
  • Project must be at concept or development stage (not production-ready)
 

How to Apply:

  • Stage 1: Short online form
  • Stage 2 (if shortlisted): Detailed application, project description, and interview (with £200 fee for shortlisted artists)
  Submission Requirements:
Prepare answers using the provided pre-fill application form (PDF/Word). Submit online through the application platform (link in call details).  

Selection Process:

  • Stage 1: Innovation, audience potential, artistic distinctiveness, artist experience
  • Stage 2: Feasibility, distribution potential (with written interest from a distributor/exhibitor), and alignment with FLAMIN support
  Program Benefits & Awards:

In 2025, the program will offer:

  • 1 Production Award: £40,000 (inclusive of artist fees)
  • Development Support: £1,000 for artist time + £1,000 for external collaborators
  • New Finishing Fund: Up to £10,000 for 2 projects (details in April 2025)
