Forecast is hiring a Head of HR, Fundraising, and Network Development for the Forecast Festival, acting as a strategic leader in people management, funding acquisition, and expansion of institutional partnerships. This full‑time position supports the growth and operational excellence of one of Europe’s notable mentorship‑based creative festivals.
The Role Overview
- Position: Head of HR, Fundraising, and Network Development (Forecast Project Coordination)
- Salary: Remuneration aligned with TVöD standards (German public sector pay scale)
- Contract Type: Job — full‑time, project‑based contract until 15 Dec 2026 (parental leave cover)
- Reporting To: Forecast Festival leadership and Skills e.V. Board
- Programme: Leadership role within Forecast’s transdisciplinary cultural network and the Forecast Festival 2026 cycle
- Location: Berlin, Germany
- Working Arrangements: Office located in Berlin‑Alt‑Treptow with flexible home‑office option (1 day/week)
Position & Tasks
- Lead and develop the internal project team, including task planning and personnel coordination.
- Ensure smooth internal and external communications and network workflows.
- Oversee strategy and coordination of organizational communication and structural development.
- Manage HR tasks, including contract negotiations and personnel administration.
- Jointly develop and implement content strategies and long‑term identity and format planning.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and prepare funding and sponsorship applications.
- Research, coordinate, and strengthen regional and international partnerships (art fairs, festivals, biennials, cultural networks).
- Represent Forecast at key industry events and support institutional relationships.

Eligibility
- Relevant academic qualification (e.g., cultural management, arts administration, or related fields).
- At least three years’ experience in program development and project organization within contemporary art, culture, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated experience securing public funding and managing funding processes (e.g., national cultural funds, EU programmes such as Creative Europe).
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Excellent command of German and English (both written and spoken).
- Transcultural competence and comfort working in an international arts environment.
