Eligibility: • Open to young international researchers, artists, and curators. • Applicants must not be based in Germany or other German-speaking countries. • Residency in Kassel is required during the fellowship period. • Proficiency in German (ideally C1 level).

Submission Requirements: • Digital submission through the portal. • Required documents: Short biography and project summary in the portal. Single PDF containing: 1. 1-page abstract of the research project, including a timeline and proposal for presenting results (max. 3,600 characters). 2. 2-page CV (including proof of language proficiency). 3. 2 reference letters (max. 1 page each).
Selection Process: • Applications will be evaluated based on: Knowledge of modern and contemporary art. Archival research experience. Scholarly, artistic, or curatorial achievements. • Results announced in March 2025.
