Horizon Magazine Submissions – Issue 09
This open call invites artists, writers, and creators to submit original work for inclusion in Issue 09 of Horizon Magazine. The magazine publishes a curated blend of visual art, photography, poetry, short fiction, drama, essays, short films, documentaries, and experimental audio-visual work. Artists and writers are encouraged to experiment with form and media, creating pieces that engage in dialogue with other submissions within the magazine. This opportunity allows participants to have their work featured in an internationally distributed print and online publication, reaching a broad audience while maintaining copyright ownership.

Eligibility:
Open to international and national artists and writers. There are no restrictions on age, gender, or career stage. Submissions must be original works owned by the applicant, with copyrights retained by the creator.

Application Fee:
No application fee is required.
Application Requirements:
- Art and Photography: up to 10 pieces, properly named as
FirstnameLastname_Title - Poetry: up to 5 poems
- Short Fiction + Drama: up to 3 submissions, max 2500 words each
- Essays: max 5000 words
- Short Film & Documentary: max 20 minutes
- Soundscapes: max 10 minutes
- Submissions must be formatted correctly (Word preferred, PDF acceptable) and emailed as a single attachment or via a curated online portfolio
- Include name and submission format in the email subject line
