Short Description

It’s that time again, International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is gearing up for another exciting year, and the 2026 theme selection process is in motion! The ICAW committee is hard at work choosing a theme that will inspire compost education and action across the globe.

The Compost Research & Education Foundation supports initiatives that enhance the stature and practices of the composting industry by supporting scientific research, increasing awareness, and educating practitioners and the public to advance environmentally and economically sustainable organics recycling.

The poster must include the following:
International Compost Awareness Week
May 3–9, 2026
Compost! Feed the Soil that Feeds Us

The theme does not have to be below the date. You can use your creativity but please make sure everything can be easily read from a distance. Do not add additional words or numbers to your poster. Failure to follow these instructions will disqualify your poster
