Short Description

IN SITU is the European platform for artistic creation in public space. It is led by Lieux Publics and gathers 27 international programmers that, for over 20 years, have been supporting more than 370 artists working in public space. PLATFORM 2025-2028 is a project co-funded by the European Commission’s Creative Europe programme. You can access more information on this link. Eligibility

  1. Artistic scope
    • Proposal of an artistic production in public space and non- conventional venues
  2. Emerging artists
    • Compliance with at least two angles of the definition
  3. Level of development of the projects
    • Proposal of an artistic production in development
  4. Geographical scope
    • Artists based in the European Union and in countries on the list of non-EU Participating countries** in the Creative Europe Programme
  5. Language Basic conversational
    • English is required as it will be the main working language

Program Benefits & Awards

The costs covered for the participation in the immersive lab include: a writing aid fee of 1,500 € including taxes, plus travel up to 300 € roundtrip for air travel, meals, and accommodation. Maximum two artists from a collective can attend a lab, and they should apply as a duo in the application form. The dates of the fives labs will be as follows:
Immersive Lab #1: 6-11 May 2026
Immersive Lab #2: 26-31 May 2026
Immersive Lab #3: 8-13 June 2026
Immersive Lab #4: 22-27 June 2026
Immersive Lab #5: 3-8 August 2026
