Organizer Information:

TDV ART by Mihai Ionescu (Galeria Tablouri De Vis) organizes this competition. Based in Bucharest, Romania, it is described as the first non-stop commercial art gallery. The organizers aim to promote the "Bionantism" theme worldwide, culminating in a live broadcast anniversary event.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the Bionantism Art Competition Edition 2 (2026).

The competition focuses on the specific visual theme of Bionantism: a contemporary concept where nature and technology are conceived as being born together, in a single visual organism. This relationship must be evident through the image rather than explained narratively.

Works must convey an organic co-genesis (e.g., bio-technical still lifes, floral compositions, or landscapes where organic and mechanical elements coexist). The presence of the human figure is generally discouraged, and fantastic/retro elements or protest messages do not fit the theme.

Selected works will be publicly presented in the TDV ART space in Bucharest (either as originals or high-quality prints).

Category:

Visual Arts (Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Sculpture).

Note: Digital works, prints, or AI-generated works are NOT accepted. The execution must be entirely by hand.
