Short Description
The IZOLYATSIA Foundation (UA) and Malý Berlín (SK), together with Trans Europe Halles (SE), announce a call for proposals for the seed funding of international cooperation projects for Ukrainian cultural and artistic organisations.
Eligibility
Ukrainian organisations active in the field of arts and culture, established in a zone effectively controlled by the Ukrainian government and having no EU and Ukraine restrictive measures applied for.
- Participation in training and in mentoring, capacity-building events,
- Engagement of experts and artists in project development,
- Conducting research and surveys to prepare the project,
- Development of international partnership project proposals on the theme of “resilience”,
- Participation in match-making events,
- Preparatory activities, including travel for partnership building,
- International travel to identify or develop project ideas with partners.

Program Benefits & Awards
- Total funding of the seed funding call: €75,000
- Maximum subgrant amount: €5,000
- Expected number of supported projects: 15-20
In addition to the programme funding, selected participants will receive:
- Four workshops on project development and partnership building to ensure all participants have the same level of preparation and basic knowledge of project structure. These workshops will be conducted by selected experts who will later act as project mentors.
- Each grant recipient of the seed funding will receive approximately 16 hours of mentoring support from the selected mentors on general understanding of project development, structures, setting objectives, target audiences, project team planning, and budgets.
Eligible costs covered by the grant include:
- Staff time: 2,500€ (lump sum only),
- Expertise/external advice: 250€/expert (lump sum only),
- Travel:
- International: 350€/return trip (lump sum only; includes local transport to airport, railway station, border etc.; not combined with local travel),
- Local: 65€/return trip (lump sum only; e.g., participation in trainings),
- Support to green travel: 300€ (lump sum only; for travels over 600km not by air),
- Parental support: 100€ (lump sum only; for A&CO with children below 10 years old, regardless of the number of children),
- Visa cost, if needed: 80€ (lump sum only),
- Accommodation and per diem: €75/overnight (lump sum only)
