The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is New York’s premier non-profit residency institution for visual artists and curators. Located in an 18,000-square-foot former factory in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, ISCP provides a high-intensity professional environment for emerging to mid-career practitioners. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, established in 1985 through the legacy of Lee Krasner, is a major global benefactor that provides direct financial assistance to individual artists of merit. Together, this partnership offers one of the most prestigious fully-funded opportunities in the United States, designed to provide the time, space, and financial stability necessary for significant artistic advancement.

2026 Pollock-Krasner Residency at ISCP
This is an open call for a fully-funded, six-month residency specifically for U.S.-based visual artists. The program is designed to integrate the selected artist into a high-level creative community while providing 24-hour access to a large private studio. Residents participate in a structured schedule of professional development, including one-on-one visits with renowned critics and field trips to New York’s major cultural institutions. The residency emphasizes critical dialogue and professional networking, culminating in the artist becoming part of an elite alumni network of over 2,000 international practitioners.

Eligibility
- Location: Must live in the United States and hold U.S. citizenship or permanent/temporary residency (Green Card) allowing for legal payment in the U.S.
- Career Stage: Late-emerging to mid-career professionals.
- Status: Must be able to accept a 1099 U.S. government form.
- Exclusions: Current students and ISCP alumni are not eligible. You cannot be enrolled in another residency program at the same time.

- Stipend: A monthly stipend of $3,050 (totaling $18,300 for the period).
- Studio: A 344-square-foot private, furnished studio with high ceilings and windows.

- Curriculum Vitae: Maximum 5 pages.
- Work Samples: 10 images or video links with full captions (title, date, medium, dimensions/duration) and optional 50-word descriptions.
- Press/Catalogs (If applicable): Scanned reviews (max 10 pages) and catalogs (max 10 pages).
- Reference Letter: One full letter of recommendation.
- Second Reference: Contact information only for a second professional referee.
- Proof of Eligibility: Scan of US Passport or Green Card (submitted separately from the main PDF).
