Short Description
In autumn 2025, the private Jungck Foundation for Women Artists (formerly the Women’s Art Prize) will award its prize for the 23rd time, endowed with CHF 15,000.
Depending on the application, the jury may award two other artists with a sponsorship prize of CHF 5,000 each.
With these prizes, the foundation would like to honour female artists for their achievements in the field of visual arts or promote their planned projects. Consideration will be given to groups of artists with a workplace in the canton of Bern who themselves have only modest means or whose projects cannot be realised due to a lack of funds.
Eligibility
Eligible are individual women artists or groups working in the Canton of Bern who have limited financial means or whose projects cannot be realized due to a lack of funds.
Not eligible are works created as part of formal education or under the guidance of a school/university.
Submission Requirements
• The completed and signed application form
• A short biography, including exhibition history, previously received grants or prizes
• A statement of motivation explaining your reasons for applying
• Documentation of the works proposed for the prize, with a focus on works created within the last four years
• If you plan to realize a project using the prize money, include documentation of the project proposal
