Eligibility:
- For Rome: Creative artists from the cantons of St. Gallen and Graubünden are eligible.
- For Berlin: Creative artists must be residents of the Canton of St. Gallen.
- Note: Applicants for a studio stay cannot simultaneously apply for a cantonal grant in the same year.
Theme & Project Criteria:
- Theme: There is no fixed theme.
- Project Requirements:
- Projects should be artistically or historically convincing, independent, and feasible.
- A clear connection to the city of Rome or Berlin—or to urban space in general—is required.
- Additional assessment criteria include the project’s relevance, its resonance (echo), independence, and overall professionalism.
