Short Description
The Department of Culture is announcing the 2025 Cultural Promotion Prize, which is endowed with a total of 10,000 Swiss francs. This is donated by the Thuner Amtsanzeiger Association of Municipalities and can be awarded to one or more people. The prize money is primarily intended for an artistic research, reflection or further development project. Cultural workers of all disciplines can apply. They must be no more than 39 years old and must have grown up in Thun or a municipality of the Thun Region Cultural Promotion Association or have lived there for at least two years. The submissions will be assessed by a jury chaired by municipal councillor Katharina Ali-Oesch.
