Kulturnest invites artists from all disciplines to participate in “Embodied Realities,” a hybrid collective exhibition exploring the body as a site of identity, resistance, and transformation. This hybrid exhibition will take place both physically in Lebanon and virtually through an online 3D gallery, providing global visibility and fostering artistic dialogue on contemporary interpretations of the body.
Concept: The Body as a Canvas, The Body as a Battlefield
The body is both universal and deeply personal—a space where joy, hope, suffering, resistance, and transformation intersect. As wars, social change, political struggles, and technological advancements reshape our world, the body becomes a living archive of human experiences.
Artists—including painters, sculptors, photographers, performance artists, digital creators, illustrators, poets, musicians, filmmakers, multimedia artists, and AI-focused artists—are invited to reflect on how the body serves as a medium of expression and a mirror of contemporary realities.

Eligibility:
Artists of all disciplines (painting, sculpture, photography, performance, digital art, film, music, poetry, multimedia, AI) worldwide can apply.
Theme: The Body in Contemporary Contexts
Artists are invited to explore the body as a canvas, battlefield, and site of identity, transformation, and resistance in today’s world. Sub-themes include:
- The Body in Times of War (trauma, survival, resilience)
- Gendered Bodies (societal constructs, diversity, agency)
- The Digital Body (AI, avatars, virtual realities)
- The Political Body (protest, oppression, resistance)
- The Fragile Body (aging, illness, mortality)
- The Celebrated Body (movement, dance, vitality)
- The Environmental Body (nature, pollution, sustainability)
- The Future of the Body (bionics, transhumanism, identity)
