Mark Tanner Sculpture Award 2025-26 – Open Call Brief Description The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award (MTSA) is the UK’s most significant award for emerging sculptors, offering financial support and a solo exhibition. The award aims to support outstanding and innovative sculptural practices, focusing on process and materials. Information & Application Details Application Deadline: Midnight, March 12, 2025 Award Includes: £10,000 grant (distributed in three payments over one year) Solo exhibition at Standpoint Gallery National touring program to partner venues across the UK Mentorship and studio visits throughout the year Eligibility Open to UK-based sculptors Students enrolled in BA or MA programs are not eligible PhD/MPhil/MLitt/MRes students can apply No age limit Individual applications only (no joint or group submissions) Theme The award focuses on sculpture with an emphasis on material exploration, process, and innovation.
