Applications are open for the MUS Residency 2026.
This partially funded residency program offers international artists dedicated time and space to work independently on their projects. The program provides an introduction to Madrid’s vibrant contemporary art scene, facilitating access to cultural networks, collective gatherings, and local gallery events. It culminates in an Open Studio and exhibition event with curators and collectors.

Program Benefits & Awards:
- Workspace: A private 20 m² studio space (with an independent entrance, natural light, ventilation, and a half-bath).
- Shared Facilities: Access to a 40 m² outdoor patio and a 30 m² indoor communal space (shared with three architects) featuring a worktable, coffee machine, microwave, and dining area.
- Networking & Promotion: Direct introduction to the "Tetuán Crea" collective, studio visits, and a final Open Studio event to showcase finished works or works-in-progress.
Application Fee & Program Costs:
- Application Fee: Free to apply.
- Residency Fee: This is a partially funded program. The studio rent fee is €120 per week. (Note: As the studio bathroom does not have a shower, artists are likely responsible for securing their own separate housing/accommodation).
