Museion — Curatorial Assistant / Project Support Role (Open Call)
Museion is seeking a Curatorial Assistant to support its exhibitions program, public events, and research-driven initiatives. The position involves working with the curatorial department in delivering upcoming projects, assisting with institutional coordination, and contributing to the development and execution of Museion’s artistic vision. The role supports the preparation of exhibitions, communication with artists, logistical arrangements, catalog research, and general curatorial administration. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic international environment committed to artistic innovation and collaborative cultural production.
The Role Overview
- Contract Type: Part-time contract (20 hours/week) or as otherwise specified.
- Duration: Fixed-term project-based role aligned with exhibition timelines.

- Reporting To: Museion Curatorial Department / Head Curator.
Position & Tasks
- Support curators in research, project development, and exhibition planning.
- Assist with communications between Museion, artists, lenders, and partners.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, installation schedules, and artwork handling.
- Prepare internal documentation, research material, and public program content.
- Assist with public-facing activities: opening events, guided tours, and program mediation.
- Provide administrative support for contracts, budget tracking, and project reporting.
- Work collaboratively within an international, multilingual museum team.

Eligibility
