Short Description
Nami Island, one of Korea’s most popular global tourist destinations, has also been over the past few years the site of the Nami Island International Children’s Book Festival(NAMBOOK).
To realise NAMBOOK Festival’s motto, “Let’s eat and drink while crawling and playing amongst books!”, the whole island is transformed into a “Library in Forest” where one can find books everywhere including the hotel rooms, rest rooms and pathways in the hope that the imaginative and creative powers of all visitors can be inspired.
Eligibility
Open to all picture book illustrators worldwide. No restrictions by nationality, publication status, or theme. No thematic limitations—illustrators are free to choose any subject or concept for their work.
Submission Requirements
- You must submit exactly 5 illustrations.
- These should form one coherent story (not 5 unrelated images).
- The sequence must convey a narrative or concept visually.
- No text is required (though some may include it if part of the artwork).
- Files must be in JPG or JPEG, RGB color mode.
- Total size per entry (all 5 images together) must not exceed 20 MB.

- Grand Prix: 1 winner receives a plaque and USD 10,000
