The NARS Foundation is an arts organization dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists working across all disciplines. By hosting both international and US-based artists, NARS creates a shared, dedicated space for extended artistic dialogue and global cultural exchange.

Title & Description:

Applications are now open for the NARS International Artist Residency Program (Season III & IV, 2026).

This program offers emerging and mid-career artists the opportunity to participate in three-, six-, and twelve-month residencies. It is open to creators worldwide. For international artists, applications are accepted during this Open Call or on a rolling basis throughout the year. However, US-based artists are required to apply specifically through this Open Call window.

Eligibility:

  • Who: Emerging and mid-career artists.
  • Scope: International and US-based artists.
  • US-Based Criteria: To apply as a US-based artist, you must have lived in the United States for 3 years or more. US artists must apply during this Open Call.
  • International Artists: Can apply during this Open Call or via the rolling application anytime during the year.
