ACC CREATORS 2026 Residency – Speculative Communities
The ACC CREATORS Residency invites visionary creators from Korea and around the world to explore the theme "Speculative Communities." This program is designed for artists, designers, architects, engineers, and researchers interested in the intersection of art, technology, and society. Participants will engage in a dynamic research, development, and production process, creating projects that speculate on how communities may evolve in the age of AI, digital interfaces, and emerging technologies. The residency emphasizes experimental approaches, encouraging participants to work with interfaces, platforms, devices, prototypes, sensors, and other tools to materialize their concepts.

Eligibility
- Open to creators active in interdisciplinary arts, Art & Technology, design, architecture, engineering, or related fields.
- International applicants eligible to obtain a Korean visa for the full residency period.
- Individuals who have not participated in ACC residencies from 2023–2025.
- Must be able to use the studio and accommodation at least 10 days per month.
- Cannot be full-time employees at institutions or companies during the residency.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Project Budget: KRW 30,000,000 (production room) / KRW 20,000,000 (other categories)
- Stipend: KRW 2,500,000 per participant
- Travel Support: One round-trip airfare for international residents
- Workspace & Accommodation: ACT Studio / Asia Plex Studio for the duration of the program
- Opportunity to present work in a final exhibition at ACC ACT Studio
- Potential secondary production support and participation in overseas partner programs
