Organizer Information:

LiTE-HAUS is a non-profit organization (Ad Finem gGmbH). However, this is not a grant-funded exhibition, and the organization was not awarded the 2-Year project space funding. Therefore, artists co-fund the show with LiTE-HAUS through donations based on the number and size of artworks.

Description:

LiTE-HAUS seeks artists for a Group Exhibition in late April.

There is no theme, which allows more opportunities for artists and creates a diverse show that attracts more people. The gallery prefers small or medium-sized works, but artists should not hesitate to apply with any size. You are not required to attend the Vernissage or the exhibition.

Visual Arts. (Artworks or photos must be easy to hang or display).

Eligibility:

  • Location: Seeks artists based in or near Berlin.

  • Shipping: If you are not located in Berlin, you may ship your art, but you must pay shipping costs both ways plus a fee for unpacking/repacking.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Exhibition: Participation in a group show from April 2 – 18, 2026.

  • Sales: No sales commission will be taken for this particular exhibition.

  • Support: The gallery will install your work and gallery-sit.

Application Fee:

Donations are not required to apply. Participation Donation (If Selected):

  • Artworks up to 70 cm: €70 (1st work), €50 (2nd work), €20 (each additional).

  • Artworks >70 cm (up to 100 cm): €95 per artwork.

  • Larger Artworks: Donation determined if selected.

  • Note: Measurements must include the frame.

Application Requirements:

  • Files: Prepare a maximum of 10 files as PNG or JPEG.

  • Specs: Image files must be 800 Pixels height and no larger than 1MB.

  • Naming: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_WIDTHxHEIGHT_NUMBER. (Example: KOCH_ROBERT_50x40_1). Number files 1 to 10.

  • Content: Do not include the name of the work or price in the application.

  • Note: Incorrectly prepared files will not be reviewed.

Key Dates:

  • Application Deadline: February 28, 2026 11PM.

  • Notification: March 7, 2026 (Only accepted artists notified).

  • Registration Deadline: March 14, 2026.

  • Art Delivery (In Person): March 29 (1 PM–3 PM) or March 30 (9 AM–7 PM).

  • Exhibition: April 2 – 18, 2026.

  • Vernissage: Thursday, April 2 (6 PM–9 PM).

  • Art Pick Up (In Person): April 19 (3 PM–5 PM) or April 20 (9 AM–7 PM).

Additional Details:

The gallery does not have space to store packing materials; you must take them with you after delivery. For shipped art, there is a fee for unpacking/repacking. If art is not picked up by April 20, a daily storage fee applies. Artists cannot choose where the artwork will hang.
