Brief Description

Ox-Bow’s Summer Fellowship Program is a fully funded 13-week residency for students from competitive art schools across the U.S. Fellows live on campus, engage in artistic and administrative work, and participate in a dynamic artist-run community. This program provides professional development, mentorship, and hands-on experience in arts administration and creative practice.

Eligibility

  • Open to undergraduate juniors/seniors and graduate students
  • Must have a graduation date of December 2024 or later
  • Must be at least 21 years old by the start of the program
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. or a valid work visa
  • Two fellowships are reserved for students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
  • Partner schools include:
    • Carnegie Mellon University
    • Pratt Institute
    • Stamps School of Art & Design (University of Michigan)
    • University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
    • University of Texas at Austin
