PAC Call for Proposals
Short Description
The PAC invites artists, collectives, curators, and cultural management professionals from across Mexico to submit project proposals in contemporary art. The call supports collaborative, non-profit projects that foster research, production, and dissemination of contemporary art, enhancing community relevance and cultural development.

Objective:
To recognize and encourage projects that contribute to the development of contemporary art in Mexico through collaborative initiatives with community impact.
Funding:
Maximum PAC contribution is MXN 100,000 tax-free per project.
Projects may be submitted with or without co-investments; if co-invested, PAC funds must be complementary and not exceed the partner’s contribution.
Project Requirements:
Must be completed within 12 months from the grant award date.
Projects must be carried out in Mexico.
Applications submitted to public institutions must have financial co-investment from that institution.
Only one application per participant and project is accepted.
Submission Process:
Complete the online support application form (available on PAC’s official website).
Include all required information and documents specific to each category (e.g., project title, responsible person’s details, biography, curriculum, project description and justification, work program, financial calendar, budget breakdown, commitment letters, and reference materials).
All amounts must be provided in MXN, with tax considerations.
Registration Period:
From Monday, March 3, 2025 to Tuesday, April 22, 2025
Deadline for submission: April 22, 2025, 11:59 PM (Mexico City time)
Additional Requirements:
If submitted by a group, a responsible person must be designated in writing to sign the agreement and issue the tax receipt.
Applicants with unresolved obligations from previous calls are ineligible.
Projects focused exclusively on other artistic fields (film, music, dance, theatre, circus, literature, etc.) or individual projects solely aimed at personal positioning will not be reviewed.
Selection & Monitoring:
The PAC’s advisory board evaluates applications based on project relevance, feasibility, and community impact.
Selected applicants must sign an agreement, submit periodic progress reports, verify expenses, and deliver a final report along with project documentation (press report, photos, etc.) for PAC archives and online dissemination.
The PAC reserves the right to adjust the proposed budget and declare the call void if necessary.

Target Audience: Mexican nationals residing in Mexico and foreigners residing in Mexico for at least two years
Project Specific: Must be non-profit, collaborative, and focus on contemporary art (excludes projects solely for personal positioning or in other artistic fields)
