Applications are open for "Piecing It Together: A Regional Collage Exhibit".

Collage has a rich history of creating community and has been used to process unimaginable world and individual events. This exhibition celebrates the generous and welcoming collage community, demonstrating what salvage, collaboration, creativity, and healing can look like.

Category:

Collage & Assemblage (Entries in 2D and 3D collage across all media will be considered, including drawing, painting, digital, printmaking, textile, photography, mixed media, and sculpture).

Eligibility:

  • Who: This is a regional open call specifically for local and regional artists (Eugene, Oregon, and the surrounding regions).
  • Medium: Works must actively utilize or celebrate the medium of collage/assemblage ("scissors, ephemera, and glue").

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Exhibition: Selected artists will have their work showcased in the Maude Kerns Art Center gallery during the summer 2026 exhibition schedule.

Application Fee & Program Costs:

  • Application Fee: $20
  • Financial Assistance: If an application fee applies and poses a barrier, financial assistance is available. Artists must contact the Director of Exhibits (exhibits@mkartcenter.org) to arrange this.
