Overview
The Museum of Loss and Renewal invites applications for WRITING with PLACE, an immersive international group residency in Italy. Devised and led by artist and curator Tracy Mackenna, in partnership with writer Elizabeth K. Reeder and writer/artist Amanda Thomson, the programme explores writing as an expanded, experimental, and situated practice.
The residency foregrounds writing as a method for engaging with place, memory, loss, renewal, (un)belonging, and imagined futures—drawing on text, publishing, performative modes, and interdisciplinary approaches.
Approximately 9 international participants will be selected.
