Organizer Information
NoPoint Atelier is an independent, family-run studio and creative hub founded in 2016 by artist Miroslav Zhivkov and partner Yana Nikolova, located in a rural mountain village in the Bulgarian Balkan Mountains. The atelier specializes in silkscreen and risograph printing, producing limited editions, books, zines, and collaborative works with international artists. Its mission centers on fostering deep creative exchange, experimentation, and community building by sharing its fully equipped print studio and living space with visiting artists.

Print Residency Program at NoPoint Atelier 2026
This residency offers artists and creatives dedicated time, space, and technical support to explore silkscreen and/or risograph
printmaking within a collaborative environment. Participants live and work in a peaceful mountain setting, gain hands-on experience with professional guidance, and develop their own project while experimenting with traditional printing processes. The residency balances focused studio time with informal cultural exchange and creative dialogue among peers and hosts.

Eligibility
- Open to artists, designers, illustrators, photographers, and creatives actively working in the visual arts.
- International applicants welcome; no nationality restrictions specified.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Program Benefits & Awards
- 24/7 access to the fully equipped print studio and shared spaces.
- Technical guidance from experienced print professionals.
- Materials to produce one edition of 25 signed prints (up to 50×70 cm).
- Accommodation in shared housing for 10 nights.
- Support before the residency, including organisational assistance and grant invitation letters.
- Photos and video documentation of the process and shared social media coverage.
- Transportation support to the nearest town and a one-day local sightseeing outing.
- New creative connections with other artists.
Application Fee
- Residency Fee: €1500 for a 10-day placement.
- Deposit: 50% due within 5 business days of acceptance to reserve a spot.
- Full payment must be completed two weeks before residency starts.
- Cancellation policies apply (depositis non-refundable if cancelled by the artist).

- Artistic CV or portfolio demonstrating artistic practice.
- Project description or statement of intent explaining what they plan to work on during the residency.

Additional Details
- Artists share studio space in pairs for the program duration.
- Residents must commit to participating fully in the fixed dates they select and care for shared spaces and equipment.
- Five copies of each print edition are retained in the studio’s archive (used only with the artist’s approval).
- Travel, food and additional materials costs not included.
