Organizer Information

The Collectif Bruocsella de Prométhéa is a collaborative initiative launched in 2003 under the guidance of Prométhéa ASBL. Prométhéa manages the operational and administrative aspects of the collective, including the evaluation of submissions and coordination with sponsors.

Title & Description

Prix Bruocsella de Prométhéa 2026 – Open Call for Public Art and Urban Heritage Projects

This open call invites creative practitioners, collectives, and organizations to submit proposals for permanent artistic projects that enhance the urban environment or valorize heritage sites within the Brussels-Capital Region. Projects may involve the creation, renovation, or highlighting of architectural or public spaces—such as facades, public squares, or other urban elements—that are visible and accessible to the public.

Selected projects will receive financial support (up to €22,000) and, in some cases, additional assistance from collective members for skills, materials, or implementation guidance. The program prioritizes projects with social impact, sustainability, and feasibility within one year of award allocation.

Shortlisted candidates may also be invited for an on-site visit in May 2026, providing the opportunity to present and refine the project with the collective’s jury.
