The foundation runs multiple short and long-term residency programs across Finland—including Tammisaari, Vasa, and Korpo—often in collaboration with Åbo Akademi University to integrate contemporary art into education and marine biology.

Title & Description:

The Pro Artibus Foundation offers four distinct residency tracks to support undisturbed engagement in artistic work, research, and cross-disciplinary development:

  1. Snäcksund Villa (Tammisaari): A 3-year residency program aimed at artists and curators.
  2. Snäcksund Croft (Tammisaari): A short, interdisciplinary "Residency-in-Residence" for experts from different areas of society collaborating with the Villa fellows.
  3. Vasa Academill (Vasa): A 3-year residency collaborating with the teacher training program at Åbo Akademi University, aiming to integrate contemporary art into general education.
  4. Korpo Archipelago Residency (Korpo): A 6-month pilot project linking environmental and marine research with art at the Archipelago Centre Korpoström.
