Short Description

Commissioning a new, large scale, interactive, and impactful sign for WORTHING.

Featuring only the word “Worthing”, the sign will become a town centre focal point, photo opportunity and reminder of the town’s creative spirit.
How can you create a three dimensional impactful work of public art to both sit well within the new Montague Gardens space, whilst remaining a standout piece of public artwork?

Montague Gardens forms part of the public realm regeneration programme within the current Worthing Growth Deal – a partnership between Adur & Worthing Councils and West Sussex County Council.
The overall design brings together a range of aspirations heard from the council’s conversations with the community which focusses on sustainability, accessibility, shelter from the sun and wind and better access to the seafront.
