The RBSA Drawing Prize celebrates artists whose work is rooted in drawing, welcoming diverse styles and media, including digital and 3D works. This technique-focused competition is open to local, national, and international artists, both emerging and professional.

Eligibility:

  • Artists aged 18 and over
  • Artwork must be primarily created through drawing (excluding painting, printmaking, or AI-generated images)
  • Works must be original, created within the last three years, and for sale during the exhibition
  • International submissions welcome

 

How to Apply:

  • Submit via the online entry form on the RBSA website
  • Pay entry fees online, by phone, or at the gallery

 

Submission Requirements:

  • Up to 4 artworks per artist
  • Image files in JPG format, at least 2000 pixels on the smallest side, 300 dpi
  • Naming convention: “Surname, First Name. Title of Work. Medium”

 

Selection Process:

Selection is based on digital images, assessed anonymously for quality and interest. The 2025 selection panel is yet to be confirmed.
