Organizer Information:

Decagon Gallery is an online platform dedicated to juried photography exhibitions and curated contemporary photography for artists worldwide. Led by Director and Curator John Manno, the gallery focuses on depth and intentionality, creating global exchanges of perspectives shaped by seeing and feeling.

Title & Description:

Applications are open for the exhibition RED — Presence, Pulse, Meaning.

This call invites photographers to explore red as more than just a color. The organizers describe it as a "visual heartbeat"—the echo of memory, the weight of emotion, and a trace of presence that refuses simplicity.

The gallery is not looking for spectacle or clichés, but for images where red emerges as something lived, felt, and personal. Whether it appears boldly in the frame or subtly in the margins, the interpretation should feel inseparable from the artist's unique way of seeing the world.

This is a Decagon SPOTLIGHT opportunity, seeking work that reveals how this potent hue functions not as a symbol, but as an experience.
