Arteles Creative Center. Arteles is located in a countryside region of Western Finland, far from the distractions and stimuli of city life. The residency is surrounded by forests, fields, and lakes.

Applications are open for Fall into Focus.
The autumn residency period provides artists, writers, and researchers with the optimal conditions for sustained concentration. The program offers flexible time and space to freely develop creative projects without external or outcome pressure. Residents also have the option to refine and improve their focus through daily scheduled meditation sessions. Periods of deep focus can be balanced with walks in Nordic nature, relaxation in a traditional Finnish sauna, and time around the bonfire with a supportive community of peers. All participation in group activities is voluntary.

Eligibility:
- Who: Emerging and professional artists, writers, and designers from all fields of creativity. Researchers, scientists, and academics engaged in fields such as Arts, Biology, Psychology, Philosophy, Neuroscience, Mysticism, Spirituality, Metaphysics, Mathematics & Physics, and Future.
- Age Limit: Minimum age is 23 (in 2026).
- Education Requirement: A university degree (minimum BA) is required; exceptions may be made for individuals with relevant experience.
- Solo Applicants Only: Only individual applicants are permitted. (If applying as a Duo, you must send two separate applications and mention the other in the "extra notes").
- Guests & Pets: Children and pets are strictly not permitted in the residency for health and shared living environment reasons.
- Project Flexibility: A predefined project proposal is not required in the application, and a finalized outcome is not required by the end of the program.

- Workspace & Facilities: 24/7 access to studio spaces and facilities, creative tools & equipment, and a curated library collection.
- Accommodation: Private bedroom (includes a working desk, towels, and bedlinen), fully equipped kitchen facilities, and laundry facilities.
- Transport & Gear: Residency car (with automatic gears) for getting around the region, a boat, bicycles, and wifi in all spaces.
- Wellness & Support: Daily scheduled meditation in the meditation hall (voluntary), traditional Finnish wood-burning sauna (built in 1961), weekly group meetings, pick-up transportation for arrivals and departures, and on-site staff.
- Promotion: Promotion through their online network and project pages in the Arteles Catalogue.

- Application Fee: There is no fee to apply.
- Program Fees (Per monthly period):
- Regular fee: 1,950 €
- Financially supported fee (limited availability): 1,350 €
- Contributor's fee (optional): 2,610 €
- (Note: All fees include a non-refundable registration fee of 120 € / person, to be paid only if/when selected).

In the selection process, the applicant's motivation, ideas, approach, and alignment with the program are emphasized over strict project proposals.
