Short Description
As it did 10 years ago, the SCHWEIZER STROHMUSEUM invites design, art and creative professionals to draw inspiration from the past for new creations of their own. And to this end, it is once again opening up its collection.
A wealth of imaginative weaving patterns, delicate decorative objects and exclusive hat models bear witness to the once flourishing hat weaving industry in Freiamt. In a competition, we are looking for diverse design ideas for reinterpreting the old techniques and objects.
Eligibility
The competition welcomes designs in a wide range of materials and functions: everyday objects and decor, furniture and textiles, clothing and jewelry.
