Curator – Collections & Exhibitions Wellcome is seeking a Science & Culture Curator to join its Collections & Exhibitions team. The role involves conceptualizing, developing, and delivering exhibitions, displays, and public-facing content that highlight the interplay between science, health, and society. The curator will work closely with colleagues across research, collections, and engagement teams to bring stories to life through innovative presentation methods, including physical displays, digital content, and cross-disciplinary collaborations. Position & Tasks
- Lead the conceptualization and development of exhibitions, displays, and related content.
- Manage curatorial research and contribute to the interpretation of Wellcome’s collections.
- Collaborate with internal teams (researchers, designers, digital, engagement) and external partners (artists, institutions, academic specialists).
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and production processes.
- Ensure exhibitions and content meet Wellcome’s standards for accessibility, inclusivity, and public engagement.
- Curate temporary and permanent exhibitions that explore biomedical science, health, and cultural contexts.
- Conduct audience research and evaluation to inform exhibition design and content strategy.
