The City is committed to enhancing its urban fabric through strategic placemaking and tourism development. Title & Description
Request for Proposals: SeaTac International Dining District Food-Inspired Art Mural
The City of SeaTac invites artists to design and create a signature mural that translates the "energy, diversity, and joy" of culinary discovery into a visual landmark. The theme is centered on the District’s brand promise: “Feed Your Curiosity.” Artists are tasked with creating a food-inspired piece that celebrates global flavors, spices, and textures. The mural will not be painted directly on the wall but instead on durable, weather-resistant panels to ensure "portability"—allowing the city to relocate the work in the future. This project aims to create a sense of discovery for visitors while fostering community pride in SeaTac’s international food scene.
