Short Description
Borderland Poetics: Rewilding Tongues announces an open call for a project and production assistant position at the Sequences Art Festival, which will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland in October 2025.
The position provides an opportunity for emerging cultural professionals based in Estonia, Finland or Wales to gain first-hand international work experience and contribute to preparing and producing a major art event. This is a paid opportunity that promotes cooperation between Wales and the Nordic-Baltic region.
Sequences is an artist-run international art festival held every other year in Reykjavík. The festival subtitle Real-time Art Festival refers to its original goal of being a platform for time-based media within the visual arts scene. The curator of every festival can interpret this theme in their own way.
Eligibility
– Higher education (at least BA level) in the field of arts;
– Fluent English speaker;
– Must be based in Estonia, Finland or Wales;
– Job experience in the visual arts will be regarded as an advantage.

Program Benefits & Awards
The program offer a scholarship of 3000€ for the entire internship pariod and additionally covers the participant’s travel expenses (and visa expenses if necessary).
Accommodation must be organized and paid for by the participant, but the host institution will help with finding the accommodation if necessary.
The host institution can also help with applying for additional internship support from Erasmus+ or KUNO if applicable.
