Short Description:
The LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster is seeking a highly motivated, conceptually driven Curator for Publications to join the team for the upcoming edition of Skulptur Projekte Münster 2027, one of Europe’s leading exhibitions for art in public space.
This role centers on the academic and curatorial development of the exhibition’s catalog and related digital/print publications, in collaboration with artists, designers, scholars, and editors.

Eligibility:
- MA (or equivalent) in Art History, Curatorial Studies, Cultural Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, Visual Culture, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in art publishing, both digital and print
- Experience writing and editing art-theoretical and curatorial texts, and managing complex editorial workflows
- Deep engagement with contemporary art and art in public space, especially in discursive and interdisciplinary contexts
- Professional experience in art institutions, ideally with collaborative curatorial teams and public space projects
- International network within the contemporary art world
- Fluency in German and English is desirable (though not explicitly stated, may be required for publishing work)
Preferred Experience
- Public speaking and event organization (lectures, talks, panels)
- Experience in media outreach and public engagement

Program Benefits or Awards:
Contract: Full-time (39 hrs/week), Fixed-term until December 31, 2027
Part-time: Minimum 30 hrs/week negotiable
