Title & Description

The Resistance Song Residency 2026

This is a three‑month artistic and research residency exploring the intersection of resistance, solidarity, and healing through music, sound, performance, and interdisciplinary research. The program invites artists, researchers, and other creatives to investigate the role of song and sound in collective resilience and cultural expression — for example: how collective singing can function as a tool for resistance and community‑building; how sound can serve as healing; or how performative rituals can be reimagined as acts of resistance. Selected participants will develop projects, experiments, and at least one public presentation reflecting these themes.
