Founded in 2009 by art patron and collector Saloni Doshi, the Space118 Art Foundation supports artists through grants, residencies, and structured mentorship initiatives.

Applications are open for the Fine Arts Grant 2026–27.
This production grant supports new or ongoing projects by providing financial assistance, mentorship, creative programming, and sustained online community engagement. Grantees will participate in an entirely digital framework that includes an icebreaker peer forum, one-on-one mentorship with established art professionals, an online jury review, and a final public presentation via an InstaLive Open Studio.

Eligibility:
- Who: Practicing individual artists with a minimum of 2 years of professional practice. Both independent and gallery-represented artists are eligible.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be under 40 years of age (born after April 10, 1985).
- Nationality/Residency: Strictly open to Indian Resident Nationals only. (Overseas Citizens of India and Non-Resident Indians are not eligible).
- Artwork: All submitted artworks must be original and developed within the past 5 years.
Program Benefits & Awards:
- Funding: A production grant ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 1,00,000 to cover direct production costs for the proposed timeline.
- Mentorship: Two online mentorship sessions with established artists, curators, and art historians.
- Outreach & Exhibition: A one-week social media takeover, an online jury review, and a Virtual Open Studio (InstaLive) to present the final project to a global network.

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the official Google Form (no email submissions accepted). Incomplete submissions or those with broken links will be disqualified. Note: If selected, artists must acknowledge Space118 in all future exhibitions or reproductions of the work produced during the grant timeline.
