Description of residency program
Groups of artists from different disciplines will reside at the same time and participate in connecting activities such as game nights, movie nights, pizza nights, sports activities (volleyball, kayaking, stand up paddle, table tennis), painting, photography, cooking, wine tasting and storytelling.
During the day, artists can intensely dedicate to their work in progress or develop new projects.
The main goal is that artists are able to focus on their ideas and projects, enhancing creativity and inspiration and connect, between them, the local community and nature.
This gives the artists opportunity to collaborate and gain new ideas and insights from peer interaction and discussion groups that can be applied to the development of their work. There is also plenty of free time for residents to work on projects and explore the nature that surrounds us. Every evening after our communal meal, you can have fun and relax.
During your stay there will be advisors on location to discuss ideas, projects, and progress of work throughout your stay, respecting your pace and direction.

Duration of residency
You can apply for one week to one month program that includes:
- 1 professional reel of your art
- 3 vegetarian meals a day
- river activities (kayak and stand up paddle)
- private pool
- exhibitions in the house
- game night
- movie night
- pizza night
Disciplines, work equipment and assistance
We encourage all disciplines to apply to StartArt Residency as we want artists to mingle and work together, giving new ideas and perspectives to all. Our international teachers Alexandre from Brazil and Jana from Serbia will guide, support and assist in the process.
Studio / Workspace
The house has many studios and shared working spaces, indoor and outdoor, as well as gardens
and a private pool. Artists can use the working space where they feel most comfortable during
the day. The private rooms have space for working privately.
Fees and support
RESIDENCE PROGRAM FEE with 3 plant-based meals included:
Shared room with shared bathroom: 420 euros (7 nights)
Private room with private bathroom: 700 euros (7 nights)
Expectations towards the artist
There is no expectation for you to deliver finished work and instead allow you to focus solely on
research and developing ideas. An advisor will be available, ready to help guide you and give
feedback for your ideas and work.
