Title & Description

Stiftung Niedersachsen Media Art Grants 2026 This grant awards three €12,500 grants for the creation of new media art projects. Applicants can submit works spanning video, net-based projects, audio, and audiovisual installations. Recipients receive funding, access to a furnished guest apartment in Oldenburg, and are expected to engage with the centre’s activities, including workshops and artist talks. Projects must be completed within six months, with an optional extension to April 2027. An international jury selects recipients, promoting innovation and international exchange in media art.

Eligibility

  • Open to international individual artists and artist groups (students and institutions are ineligible).
  • Artists who previously received this grant at Haus für Medienkunst are not eligible.

  • Applicants must commit to the residency period in Oldenburg (at least one month, can be multiple stays).

Additional Details
