Short Description:

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts invites the community to participate in “The Soldier’s Lens,” a curated exhibition showcasing the original perspectives of active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. The exhibition will explore the diverse experiences of military life, from moments of intensity to everyday routines. Chosen submissions will be selected by a panel of judges knowledgeable in art and military service. Selected works will be featured in a group exhibition at FMoPA in November 2025. The project is planned to have multiple phases: online exhibition, live programming, and curriculum. The exhibition aims to honor the intersection of photographic arts and military service, while raising awareness of veterans’ experiences, and generating support for both FMoPA and veterans’ causes.
