Traineeship Education – Mediation – Art Education / PR (M/F/D) – SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT

This two-year paid traineeship starting July 1, 2026, offers hands-on experience in art education, cultural mediation, and public engagement. Trainees will contribute to educational programs, workshop planning, and the development of pedagogical texts while collaborating with the MINISCHIRN program and various interdisciplinary initiatives. Participants will gain insights into both artistic practice and visitor-focused educational strategies in a high-profile European institution.

Position & Tasks

  • Participate in the development and supervision of educational programs, including art education and artistic practice.
  • Write and edit pedagogical texts, publications, and online content.
  • Collaborate on the conceptualization and implementation of special projects and cooperative programs.
  • Procure and plan materials for artistic workshops.
  • Collaborate with MINISCHIRN initiatives, supporting engagement with young audiences.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary and multimedia projects.

Eligibility

  • Degree in art education, fine arts, or comparable training.
