Vineyard Arts Project (VAP) is a performing-arts residency and creative incubator located in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard. It is dedicated to supporting the development of innovative new work in dance and theatre by emerging and established artists from around the world.

Applications will open on March 1, 2026, for the VAP 2026/27 Artist Residency Program.
This program invites small-budget organizations, collectives, and individual artists to focus intensively on the creative process. VAP provides dedicated time, housing, and studio resources in a collaborative environment designed to foster experimentation, artistic dialogue, and meaningful engagement with audiences.
Residencies are typically one week in duration, with sessions available in Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027. Selected artists will also have the opportunity to host an informal public sharing or presentation of their work.
