Short Description
We Want More! is a mid-scale cooperation project supported by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme (Grant Agreement n. 101173561) that promotes collaboration between artists, professionals, and cultural organizations aimed at diversity, inclusion and innovation in the performing arts. It envisages the development of new production models and the strengthening of international partnerships; it is committed to promoting opportunities for artists to ensure greater representation on the cultural scene. As one of the primary objectives in the work to be developed, the project facilitates artistic mobility; it offers training and the sharing of good practices, contributing to the construction of a more accessible and interconnected cultural scene.
This international training course aims to improve the skills and competencies of theatre artists, promote equal opportunities and access to the market, and empower theatre directors and actors across the EU and beyond to include disabled people as performers, crew members, writers, and technicians. The programme takes a comprehensive approach to inclusion, with insights from external experts.
The workshop will run over five days, with sessions with professionals from a wide range of fields related to inclusion in the performing arts, as well as join discussions and debates focused on accessibility and inclusion in the arts.
