About the Competition:
The internationally acclaimed World of WearableArt (WOW) competition invites designers and creators worldwide to unleash their imagination and transform art into living form on one of the world’s most extraordinary stages. Each year, the WOW Show turns Wellington’s TSB Arena into a dazzling arena spectacular — a fusion of art, fashion, design, performance, and imagination.
Seen by over 60,000 people annually and described as “Broadway meets Cirque du Soleil”, WOW presents wearable masterpieces through live performance, music, aerial choreography, and immersive visuals. Over NZD $200,000 in prizes are awarded, including the coveted Supreme WOW Award, the Designer Development Award, and an exclusive internship with Wētā Workshop.
